Job Description

  • Develop program goals, study methods and data systems on Health programs and the health care system aligned to benefit realisation targets which can be used to support projects and initiatives in line with the departments priorities for health care services and policies;
  • Guide health economic analyses for effective use of data and analytic resources and recommend health outcome measures for treatment and prevent effectiveness studies;
  • Lead evaluation of proposed or current policies and interpret studies’ findings such as economic impact of policies implementation for economy and health care system.;
  • Provide subject matter expertise and strategic advice about benefits related work activities and projects;

Job Requirement

  • Proven experience with critical analysis skills and advice to stakeholders, demonstrating strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated experience in applying and delivering knowledge transfer to inform work programs in a meaningful way.
  • Ability to think strategically, integrating a ‘big picture’ view of goals with how to achieve them, envisaging what might be and how future possibilities balance with the ‘here and now’.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in preparing high level reports and correspondence for a wide range of audiences and in presenting detailed and complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in the health domain (e.g. eHealth, health support, clinical, health administration, health economics, academia, health data analytics).

One of the most well-established federal government departments with a core team in Sydney, CBD is seeking an experienced Insights Analyst/ Data Insights Analyst to join a multi-disciplinary team and develop program goals and data systems that align with benefit realisation targets and priorities within the department! The successful candidate will secure an initial contract until 30 June 2021, with a view to extend at a rewarding hourly rate.
