Intern Engineer
Job Description
- Partner with senior engineers in a design office, learning and using engineering tools, for the design of project specifications and documentation.
- Partner with senior engineers and technicians to develop and test project specific PLC and SCADA software.
- Partner with senior technicians to perform hands-on testing and configuration of automation hardware and variable speed drive systems.
- Perform any other relevant duties as and when assigned by immediate Supervisor.
Job Requirement
- Graduated or pursuing a degree (3rd year student or higher) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Office tools
- Some experience with industrial automation equipment (PLCs, SCADA, VSDs, etc.) will be advantageous
Temperament
- Strong communicator and good interpersonal skills
- Willing to adapt to a changing project environment
- Eager to learn new technologies
Information Processing Capability (Factors of Complexity)
- Good technical problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to plan tasks and manage time to complete tasks within specific timeframes
