This role is ideally suited for marketing or advertising students who are looking for tangible work experience and skills. If you’re looking to add real world experience and skills to your resume before you join the workforce this is the right job for you. The role is designed to be flexible with hours around your study. More importantly it’s created by someone who has been through the same struggles. As an unpaid role it’s designed to teach you all the things you need to know to impress future employers.

We all make mistakes and that’s a huge part of your development, however, I know this can be stressful. So know that the program in place is to ensure you make mistakes and learn from them but no mistakes you make will be mission critical and cause you to lose sleep.

We’re looking for a charismatic individual who can get along with everyone and relate to everyone. Lesson #1 is that people do business with people. We’re looking for someone who can really engage in conversation, ask questions and be a nice human.

The other factor we’re looking for is someone who could really benefit from their experience working here. Someone who has a passion for marketing and wants to know everything there is to know!

Sweet and Sticky was recently created by Chris Summers. (changing tense) I started out working with small businesses for all of their digital marketing with the government funded BEC’s. I then joined the NSW business chamber helping thousands of small businesses heading up their digital marketing division. We created lots of websites ranging from $5k - $300k. I then joined Leo Burnett (which many of you students will no doubt have learnt about). I worked there for 5 years and worked with clients like Canon, GIO, Bundaberg Rum, Smirnoff, Samsung, Woolworths and countless others.
