Operations Officer
Job Description
You will be a cross-functional, agile team member with a focus on service, considered an expert in your field and others will seek your guidance and support. You are flexible and willing to shift focus numerous times throughout a day while maintaining a high quality standard. You will provide escalation and identification of opportunities to improve and refine internal processes whilst referring into a Senior Operations Officer, Team Leader or Manager you will provide them with support required to drive success based on CUA's member centric service proposition.
Job Requirement
- Minimum one year experience in the financial industry
- Experience in back-office payments processing (desired)
- Strong communication, attention to detail, influencing and problem solving skills
- Results driven with the ability to quickly learn CUA's range of services and processes
- Medium level of computer literacy and a high level of speed for data processing and verification
- Understanding of privacy legislation and privacy principles
- Preferred exposure to Agile and Continuous improvement methodologies
- Previous experience with straight through processing and automation considered advantageous
