Job Description
- Responsible for the design and development of builds, scripts, installation procedures, and systems including source code control and issue tracking for Major complex releases.
- Define and document a detailed implementation process and seek sign-off from key business stakeholders
- Evaluate agile based design & develop CI/CD program to automate the deployment process across the enterprise IT systems. Includes, identifying technology limitations with the existing applications and develop automated solutions for the continuous code deployment. Work with different IT teams to evaluate the scope for deployment automation & developing impact assessment & design document to achieve e2e deployment automation.
- Develop overall approach for Go Live, within Agile Tribes, establishing an effective structure for collaboration with direct and indirect business and technology stakeholders.
- Plan and execute a series of trial migrations and Cutover Dress Rehearsals to validate that all aspects of Cutover are clearly understood, activities and timings validate success outcomes and key decision makers appropriately informed
- Ensure necessary types of testing has been performed for the developed solutions & respective quality/ guidelines has been followed to automate the e2e deployment process
- Maintain the deployment plans, so the deployment can be performed on schedule with available resources across IT domains
- Coordinate with Vendors and skill groups to complete deployments within the SLA / KPI
- Maintaining and supporting Enterprise Release Schedule, across PROD, PPT and lower test environments
- Being a champion of deployment automation to streamline release implementation and reduce deployment errors, costs and outage window
- Being a key stakeholder in Post Implementation Review meetings.
- Strong experience in Cutover management, change management, and transition to BAU support
- Minimum 5 years of experience participating in complex Implementation activities for large Telecom enterprises, as part of Agile Tribes and utilizing DevOps Methodologies.
Job Requirement
- Experience with Helix, Telecom and Billing and Customer Care implementations would be highly advantageous
- Data migration and integration (functional) experience
- Knowledge of Release Planning, to deliver outcomes on time, within budget and to a high level of quality
