Support Software Engineer
Job Description
- Work with the Engineering Platform Support Manager(s) and broader Platform Technology Team to plan and deliver change
- Liaise with business stakeholders and delegates to understand and clarify business objectives
- Support the development of business cases by producing estimates
- Work with peers at all stages of the SDLC to deliver high quality, fit for purpose technology solutions: - Design solutions (considering functional and non-functional aspects)
- Produce and maintain relevant technical artefacts
Job Requirement
- Developing and modifying existing applications by following site standards for the design, coding and testing of software;
- Being part of a bigger project team and writing new programs based on enhancement and change requirements;
- Working as part of larger team, collaborating to build software and support projects and senior developers, technical leaders
- Graduate in Bachelors of Science majoring in Computer Science
- Demonstrable analytical and trouble-shooting experience
- Any development experience and AS400 / iSeries experience is highly regarded but NOT essential;
- Programming experience through internships and/or other work experience;
