This unit develops your understanding of information technology strategy and governance by introducing key theories and frameworks (e.g., Strategic Alignment and maturity, Knowledge Management, and COBIT governance framework) in addition to facilitating active learning through case studies. The unit discusses IT governance in the context of strategy implementation and considers the current development of IT in business contexts, including digital transformation, Big Data, artificial intelligence, cyber security and risks, and the associated human and infrastructure management issues.
