Undertake complex nursing activities in a range of clinical settings and effectively apply prioritising, problem solving and time management skills
Critically reflect on actions, professional development and on the nature of nursing practice in relation to the nursing management of clients' health needs
Collaborate within an interprofessional team in the provision of quality care
Apply knowledge of appropriate therapeutic medications in the care of patients with complex or life-threatening illnesses
Demonstrate practice at a beginning level in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Registered Nurse Standards for Practice , Code of conduct for nurses and the International Council of Nurses (ICN) Code of ethics for nurses
Support near peers in a range of skills relating to patient assessment and care within a clinical setting
Reflect on and evaluate performance of self and others related to knowledge, skills and delivery of nursing care
Demonstrate clinical judgement skills to identify, analyse and resolve clinical concerns in the patient with complex and/or life threatening illnesses
Demonstrate a systematic approach to identify, assess and respond to the deteriorating patient
Critically reflect on specific learning needs in preparation for registration as a nurse
