Grant is a seasoned BizDevOps consultant with over two decades of experience, specializing in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. Since 2016, he has been at the forefront of the DevOps movement, helping organizations across diverse industries, including Telecommunications, Media, IoT, Energy, eCommerce, and Finance, to implement agile and scalable solutions that drive business value. Currently serving as the General Manager of IT at GigaComm, Grant leads strategic IT initiatives, ensuring seamless operations and fostering innovation. Previously, he held key roles at DB Results, where he served as Head of Infrastructure for APT Travel Group, overseeing cloud services, vendor management, and IT optimization projects. His expertise spans Azure cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, microservices architectures, and agile methodologies. Throughout his career, Grant has worked with industry leaders such as Telstra, Coles, Teachers Mutual Bank, Alinta Energy, Dulux, and APT Travel Group, focusing on technology delivery, product management, and organizational design. He played a pivotal role in developing AI-based smart video systems for Telstra, leveraging Azure IoT Edge and AWS microservices to enhance consumer media experiences. Grant holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Communications, Electronics, and Software Systems from RMIT University and is a Certified SAFe® 6 Practice Consultant, ICAgile Certified Professional in DevOps, and a Certified Practitioner of Human-Centered Design. He is passionate about helping businesses maximize their IT investments and create high-performing, agile teams. With a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach, Grant continues to guide organizations in navigating the evolving DevOps landscape, driving efficiency and delivering impactful technology solutions.
