Data Analyst (Reporting and Insights)

You will report to the Executive GM, Fixed Income.  You will be responsible for reporting, interpreting and modelling operational performance, client experience, financial data and business development data for the Fixed Income business. 

In this role, you will focus on reporting and insights through your use of data analytics and structured analysis to help drive business performance. The role blends the understanding/practice of financial and marketing data rules with the need to maintain/create data and reporting mechanisms for collaboration on the efficient running of the business.

You will collaborate with multiple business units and stakeholders across FIIG to ensure high quality and timely delivery of information and solutions to improve our financial products and sales and marketing effectiveness. 

You will play a critical role in the budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring of performance and governance, optimisation of business tools including CRM and assisting with organisational process design.

You enjoy using your Project Management skills to be able to lead and manage stakeholders in the development and implementation of business focused solutions.

You are adept at collating, reporting, interrogating databases and interpreting data.  You have data analytic and interrogation skills, specifically in SQL, PowerBI (i.e. DAX, PowerQuery, Tabular modelling and M). You have intermediate MSPowerPoint skills and advanced MS Excel skills, including nested formulae, PivotTables, PowerQuery/PowerPivot and VBA.

You may have some exposure to Marketing and CRM systems and databases (i.e. Marketo and MS Dynamics).

You are degree qualified in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics/Data Modelling or a related field.  You have working knowledge of basic accounting principles. You have experience within the Financial Services Industry.
