Job Description

  • Undertake remediation of confirmed fraud to minimise adverse customer impacts and revenue leakage
  • Deriving key insights and common trends in fraud events through root cause analysis
  • Uplifting AGL’s fraud management capabilities through process improvement/enhancement
  • Daily monitoring and triage of suspicious activity reported by customers and staff
  • Detailed investigation of suspicious activity including investigation of account information and customer interactions
  • Providing direction to internal stakeholders to minimise ongoing impacts of fraud events
  • Liaise with external law enforcement to report instances of fraud and provide key information to support their investigation


Job Requirement

  • Experience working in a large business environment preferably in fraud, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with risk management, privacy and fraud concepts would be highly regarded
  • Inquisitive and curious attitude with a strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional stakeholder management experience combined with effective communication skills
  • High proficiency using SQL, Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint
