Full Stack Web Developer - PHP/HTML/JS

We are requiring an experienced web programmer for development of web based components for a large fintech project. The project consists of both front end and back end sub-projects, communication with numerous third party gateways, and significant user interaction challenges.

The successful applicants will be able to work on a PHP codebase and be able to develop new codebase from scratch.
The role will require knowledge and experience across the full stack PHP/HTML/CSS/JS, and with strong software development principles. Knowledge of programming from first principles (not just using frameworks) is essential for this role.
You will report to the Development Team Leader and follow directions from architects. You will be expected to provide advice and support to the team relating to web technology and will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

• 5+ years of experience developing and shipping web based application code
• Demonstrated experience writing modular backend code in PHP and supporting API integrations
• Demonstrated capabilities in writing front-ends in HTML/Javascript/CSS. Note: graphic art skills are not required although being capable of producing a reasonable user interface is required.
• Demonstrated skills in product development and maintenance and the product development life-cycle.
• Experience in web development technologies including common JavaScript libraries, HTML, CSS, underpinned by extensive work in PHP.
• Good understanding of SQL and database table design.
• Ability to work in a team or self-directed as required
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting client and third party relationships.
