Human Resources Manager
Job Description
Reporting to the Finance and Operations General Manager and working closely with ECA’s CEO and Senior Executives, the Human Resource Manager will effectively build the people and culture capability of the organisation, lead and manage ECA’s human resources function as well as shape organisational culture and values. The role is responsible for problem-solving human resources issues. This position is also responsible for compliance to relevant regulations, legislation and authorities such as the ACNC and the Fair Work Commission. The role will also work closely with ECA’s Work, Health and Safety committee in ensuring that ECA is compliant with all Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations.
Job Requirement
1 A tertiary qualification in human resource management sufficient to gain member status of the Australian Human Resource Institute.
2 Substantial experience in human resource management or organisational performance or human resource management at a senior level.
3 Knowledge of employment legislation and the national employment standards.
4 Knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, legislation and practices.
5 Demonstrated skills and experience in developing systems and work practices that increase accountability and ensure the planning and operation of high quality human resource services.
6 The ability to manage time, set personal and team goals and delegate tasks.
