Job Description
- Develop a People and Culture firm strategy and executing operationally
- Mentor a team and inexperienced leaders
- Formulate, manage and communicate HR policies and procedures
- Manage the recruitment process end to end
- Provide counselling support for employees in respect of performance, behaviour, absenteeism and adherence to conditions of employment
- Coach Managers and Directors as required to develop their skills in performance management and motivating teams
- Manage complex industrial relations matters
- Manage training and development activities and identify training requirements (technical and non-technical)
- Ensuring Workplace Health and Safety issues are managed in accordance with legislative requirements and Investigate the causes of accidents on site and recommend actions to prevent future occurrences
- Monthly reporting to the Executive
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or relevant discipline
- 5+ years proven experience in a similar generalist role, ideally in a professional services firm
- Advanced understanding of contemporary human resources and employment relations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience developing and delivering both technical and soft skills training
- Proven networking skills
- Ability to travel interstate to our visit southern offices and a hold valid driver’s license
