Job Description

As a software engineer on our product team, you will be joining a multi-disciplinary feature squad and contribute to the creation and quality of our video entertainment product suite.

In this role, you will work alongside a passionate and driven team, use the latest cutting-edge tools and technologies (no legacy systems!), and enjoy autonomy and a broad scope of responsibilities.

Job Requirement

You are a passionate Senior JavaScript developer, with confident communication skills. You have a keen eye for problem-solving and are looking for the next step in your career.

Importantly, you have experience with the following technologies:

React.js
Node.js
HTML
CSS
ES6 and newer ExmaScript specification
RESTful APIs

You should also be proficient with at least some of the following:

React 16.8 (hooks)
GraphQL
Apollo (Client & Server)
CSS in JS (Emotion/Styled Components)
Unit testing (Jest + React Testing Library)
Progressive web apps
Server-side rendering
gRPC
Express.js
Microservices (Kubernetes)
Authorization (JWT, OAuth 2.0)

Other desired skills:

Mentoring/leadership
Knowledge of performance and benchmarking
Familiarity with accessibility best practice
DevOps CI/CD and automation.
