Job Description

Work collaboratively with the Trips experience team and other partners to build and ship customer-facing features in a rapidly-moving and dynamic environment
Use your creativity, engineering skills and technical knowledge to deliver value and improvements iteratively and efficiently.
Ensure that visual design is meticulously up to spec and unique Android capabilities are used for a truly native experience
Keep a strong eye for the operational aspects of the platform such as deployment, performance tuning and monitoring. Providing support and maintenance for these applications.
You feel comfortable challenging authority/the status quo.

Bachelor's degree or Masters in Computer Science & Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.
5+ years of Android application software development and some experience in an enterprise-level software engineering and web application development.
Proficiency in Kotlin and MVVM.
Some experience with Jetpack Compose
Worked with or knowledge of Apollo/GraphQL.
Have an understanding of testing and monitoring tools (like Firebase, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, etc.).
Able to test, debug and monitor your own code.
Able to collaborate and get results in a complex cross disciplinary working environment.
