You are someone with:
- Solid engineering experience of 5+ year using Python v3.7+ . Other complementing languages are highly regarded.
- Solid understanding of engineering best practices and good code hygiene.
- Experience working with Python ORM frameworks ( Peewee, Tortoise, Piccolo etc )
- Experience with static type checking tools with Python and CI/CD
- Experience with templating engines in Python ( Jinja2, Django, Mako etc )
- Experience building REST service using Python. FastAPI experience is highly desirable.
- Experience and interest in solving problems in the system integration domain. Familiar with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Event Driven Architecture (EDA) and microservices.
- Keen interest in open-source technologies and contributing to the Australian engineering community
- Demonstrable understanding of one or more cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud). Reasonable level of infrastructure and networking knowledge.
- Familiar with techniques related to automating platforms and deployments.
- Desire to collaborate, innovate, build reusable assets, learn and mentor through practice wide coding dojos, brown-bags & hackathons.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfort working in a flexible and dynamic environment.
