Job Description

Day To Day Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the different project phases, from defining technical, operational and user requirements, through to planning, development, quality control , and testing
  • Build conceptual architecture s and develop solution options that match your clients’ requirements
  • Partner with cross-functional technology teams to integrate solutions
  • Engage with offshore and global teams for project delivery
  • Act as a technical expert for team in development methodologies, techniques, and technologies
  • Work with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that configuration and components meet application requirements and performance goals.
  • Meet milestones and related effort/time commitments for assigned deliverables and provide work status, including estimated-time-to-complete and actuals.

Job Requirement

Technical And Non-technical Skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of application and integration design patterns such tier model, MVP, messaging, message broker, event driven , SOAs and service architectures etc.
  • Experience and understanding in key cloud technologies such as Web Apps, API Apps, SQL or NoSQL databases, Service Fabric, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.
  • Development of native Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, DevOps) and understanding of Azure infrastructure architecture including compute services, storage components, and networking services.
  • Developing with core Microsoft technologies including .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, WebAPI /WCF, and SQL Server
  • Developing with front-end web technologies including as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related frameworks (Angular/React/Knockout)
  • Knowledge of DevOps concepts such as infrastructure-as-code, automated testing and release management , and version control .
  • Knowledge of d eveloping in SharePoint and Office 365 or Dynamics 365 is desirable but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM and Waterfall development methodologies .
  • Experience interacting with external clients and key senior partners in a consulting or professional services environment .
  • Self-driven individual who can work on his/her own and/or as part of global project teams including offshore .

Additional Requirements

  • 3 + years relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also suffice.
  • Applicants must hold Australian Citizenship
  • Ability to travel domestically as required
