About the Role:

We are currently seeking a full-time Junior Full Stack Developer to perform:

• Daily maintenance of existing platforms.

• Product development under supervision.

The successful applicant will be involved in all the phases of the development life-cycle and all the layers of the product stack. This developer will:

• be provided with detailed instructions/design for developing small-to-medium size components;

• be trained to conduct daily maintenance work such as regular updates, releases, backups, etc.;

• be involved in discussions and planning around software design, product design, etc.;

• write detailed documentation on software development progress.

Key Criteria:

• Based in Sydney, no remote work.

• An undergraduate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.

• o Solid programming skill in Python (2.7 essential).

• o Solid scripting skill in JavaScript.

• Basic understanding of CSS and ability to write CSS stylesheets.

• Relational Database e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL (Essential) - be able to write advanced SQL statements.

• Linux - common Linux commands, package management (Essential), etc.

• Web application development - basic understanding of HTTP(S), CGI, WSGI, RESTful API, JSON, etc, as well as related development experience.

• GIT - be comfortable with using GIT for version control and following software management instructions.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and deliver against tight deadlines.

• Skills in problem solving, organisation, time management, and planning.

Desirable Criteria:

• A post-graduate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.

• Mobile application development – develop, build, document, test, deploy and support mobile applications as directed by management.

Desktop Support Technician - Junior Role

Working location：Melbourne CBD & Inner Suburbs

Duties:

• Support and troubleshoot IT problems to determine if the problem is hardware, software, or procedural

• Escalates problems to appropriate resource and follow-ups to ensure resolution to customer satisfaction

• Reviews and updates knowledge base articles on a regular basis

• Provide support for hardware issues, including vendor and IT procurement management
