Session 1: Pair Programming Interview
This session introduces students to the technical interview round commonly known as Pair Programming—the first and often most challenging stage of a DevOps interview.
Students will gain an understanding of:
- What this round typically involves, how companies assess technical depth, and what kind of thinking and communication styles are expected
- How to present your approach clearly while solving a task in real time
- The most commonly tested areas in this round, including DevOps tools, automation logic, and platform reliability fundamentals
- What makes a technical answer effective vs underwhelming—and how strong candidates stand out under pressure
- How to approach unfamiliar or ambiguous problems in a collaborative setting
In addition, this session includes instructor-led demos and curated mock questions to help you build confidence in:
- Speaking while coding
- Responding clearly under time constraints
- Structuring your explanations in English
By the end of this session, you’ll understand how to prepare for technical rounds in a way that highlights not just your hands-on ability, but also your decision-making, technical communication, and problem-solving mindset.
