和 352-001 的关系：400-007 是 352-001 的升级替代版本。两者都是 CCDE 笔试，通过任意一个 + CCDE Practical Exam 都能拿到 CCDE 认证。2024 年起 352-001 不再提供新考试，所有新考生必须考 400-007。

v3.0 相比旧版的主要变化：(1) 新增 SD-WAN / SD-Access / Intent-Based Networking 考域，约占 20-25% 分值；(2) 新增 Cloud Connectivity 设计（混合云网络、DCI）；(3) 删减了旧版的纯 MPLS TE 和旧式 DMVPN 细节；(4) 增加了自动化和可编程性在网络设计中的影响。

CCDE 全球持证人仍不到 500 人。考试地点为 Pearson VUE 全球考试中心。通过笔试后 18 个月内完成 CCDE Practical Exam。
