Your role

• Work with your tech lead to build robust backend services

• Help building/automating infrastructure to support all backend services

• Build efficient back end abstractions and systems

• Participate in design and code reviews

• Support front end development

• Work with other team members to build best practices and methodologies for backend Engineering

Your skills

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a related field

• Excellent Java knowledge (or at least any JVM languages)

• Good knowledge with Unix systems

• Understanding basic cloud technologies

• Good knowledge of database technologies

• Knowledge of basic algorithms and data structures

• Knowledge in developing web based applications

Bonus points

• Experience in using Kotlin is desirable

• Experiences with AWS cloud technology is desirable

• Experience in CI & CD

• Candidates with strong Linux/shell programming experiences is highly desirable
