Job Description
About the Role
This position is responsible for undertaking a range of administrative services to support the teaching, engagement and research activities of the Academic Unit and for the provision of high-level customer service to key stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming enquiries to the Academic Unit, including email, telephone and in person
- Support the Academic Services Officers across the range of administrative services associated with the Unit’s teaching and research activities
- Undertake a range of financial administration duties such as accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations and generate transaction reports
- Support staff in the relevant use of the University’s ProMaster system and provide staff with relevant information of the university’s finance guidelines
- Review and update databases, and maintain filing systems, archiving and storage of unit records

Job Requirement
Essential Skills and Experience
- Successful completion of the South Australian Certificate of Education (or equivalent), or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated experience in a reception or administrative position involving high-quality customer service
- Understanding of finance administration including reconciliation, accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Can demonstrate high level organisational skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Experience in using all programs in the Microsoft Office suite and a corporate information system
