Applications Developer

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Writing programs according to the specifications from technical design team
• Working with the technical staff to understand problems with software and develops specifications to resolve them
• Participating in analysis and design sessions, providing leadership in the solution of problems or providing the means to address user requirements
• Contributing to user and system documentation for modules maintained or developed
• Following established programming procedures and guidelines
• Instructing, directing, monitoring and checking the work of other analysts and programming personnel
• Reviewing, creating and maintaining documents as a part of the solution delivery process.
• Ensuring the adherence to business standards at all times

We would like you to have:

• A tertiary qualification in IT or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience within financial services, and superannuation/wealth is preferred
• Strong proficiency in .Net Core/C#
• Experience developing Web APIs
• Excellent understanding of SQL Server and Oracle PL/SQL
• Organisation & time management skills with the capacity to work to tight deadlines
• Business communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Project management experience (small scale developments)
• An in-depth knowledge and experience of the languages and packages used in development
