Assistant Accountant

• Preparation of monthly reports
• Applying accounting standards and legislation to year end statutory accounts 
• Maintaining the General Ledger and Asset Register
• Assisting the finance team and other departments with ad hoc advice 
• Comparing performance against budget and investigating any deviations 
• Build rapport with work colleagues and stakeholders, and assist team performance with concepts of continual improvements

You will most likely be in the process of completing, or recently completed, a CA/CPA and be working in a Business Services/Tax capacity at a reputable accounting firm. Conversely, you may have completed a graduate rotation at a reputable corporate that supported you in studying a CA/CPA. You will certainly possess an attitude and work ethic consistent with working in a fast-paced, professional firm.
