Manage, maintain and develop all aspects of TAFE NSW’s property related asset information databases, registers and management systems including TAFE’s contribution to whole of government asset information requirements.
• Review and stabilise current asset knowledge data bases by performing data analysis on the existing data to detect inaccurate, incomplete or incorrect data and perform a data cleanse to prepare the data for migration and transition to an enhanced digital asset management solution (AMS).
• Lead and manage organisational transition to a new comprehensive and integrated AMS through effective project and change management.
• Research and develop options for implementation of a new AMS, identifying user, operational and system requirements ensuring the future AMS incorporates features and functionality to best support TAFE NSW’s needs including multiple user access, real time data updates, user friendly reporting and integration with other systems such as the GIS.
• Advanced Microsoft Office 365 resources
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems or Database Management or relevant equivalent experience with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role with an understanding of lifecycle asset management principles and techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in implementation and development of contemporary asset/infrastructure management processes and techniques.
• Proven advanced skills in data analytics techniques with the ability to work with a range of 3rd party asset management systems, providing asset management reports to inform decision making and planning.
• Proven ability to maintain and enhance data analytics systems and processes including Geographical Information Systems.
• Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

This is an exciting opportunity to join the TAFE Infrastructure NSW Branch within the Strategic Asset Planning Team that is on the cusp of the next level of growth.
Within this permanent, full time role, you will be responsible for reviewing the quality and completeness of data in the interim Asset Management Solution (AMS), identifying data improvement opportunities and leading business improvement projects to continually refine the accuracy and integrity of asset information in the asset management system. The quality of asset register data is a critical requirement to enable TAFE Infrastructure NSW to make good asset management decisions.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to be part of the development of a new permanent Asset Management Solution, by providing input into the procurement process of a new AMS, preparing for the transition and manage the ongoing relationship with the AMS service provider.
The location is negotiable, and you can select from any of our 6 key locations including Ultimo, Wollongong, Orange, Coffs Harbour, Kingscliff or Wagga Wagga TAFE NSW Campuses.
