Job Description
- Design and implement web mapping application for GIS/analytical applications.
- Implement modular and reusable web components for analytics and visualisations.
- Design and implement interactive analytical UX – Heatmap, choropleth / thematic mapping, charts, graphs, tables, etc.
- Support the co-design approach to UX development.
Job Requirement
- Demonstrated experience in handling and integrating REST API
- Significant experience in rendering performant interactive mapping & tabular visualisations such as heatmap, charts etc
- Experience with component-based JS Framework: ReactJS or VueJS or similar
- Demonstrated experience with styling Frameworks: Material UI or similar
- Practical ability to work with mapping frameworks: MapboxGL, Leaflet or similar
- History working with secured API – JWT ( JSON Web Token) or similar
- Programming Languages: R, R Shiny, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON
- Ability to translate technical requirements into detailed task descriptions.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently and to use initiative in problem solving.
- Effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise work tasks to achieve outcomes within the prescribed timeline.
