Graduate Accountant

We are looking to appoint a Graduate Accountantto provide accounting support across the group.

Reporting to the Group Accountant and working across the Finance function, you will have the opportunity to support the accounts payable and receivable activities of the business, manage cashflow and be involved in various finance and administration activities across the group.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Timely and accurate processing of invoices

· Reconciliation of accounts

· Timely and accurate cashflow management and reporting

· Management of statutory reporting requirements

· Maintenance of fixed assets register

· Provision of assistance and support to the Group Accountant, as requested/required

The successful candidate will:

· Have tertiary qualifications and 2+ years’ work experience, preferably within FMCG environment

· Be working toward CPA or CA

· Have the ability to produce accurate outcomes under the pressure of mandatory reporting timeframes

· Have a sound understanding of and ability to apply, the Australian Accounting Standards

· Have a hands-on attitude and faultless attention to detail

· Be able to work effectively and productively in both an office environment and a remote working environment (i.e. from home)

Exposure to SAGE ERP system is advantageous.
