Job Description
- Produce and update project documentation, including work packs, work method statements, operating procedures and equipment pick lists
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the work scope is successfully planned and executed
- Review and interpret technical drawings, such as equipment schematics, isometric drawings and process and instrumentation diagrams
- Site focal point for quality control
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for both Contract Resources and clients
- Maintain a strong safety culture
Job Requirement
- Recently graduated from a Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent majoring in Process, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Willingness to complete specialised training courses such as breathing apparatus, confined space rescue, and helicopter escape for offshore work
- Previous vacation or internship work experience within oil and gas or resource sector
- Ability to complete manual work on site
- Good attitude with a desire to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a team or independently with good initiative
- Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs and specifications
- Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with key stakeholders
- Current C Class Manual Drivers Licence
- Full rights to work in Australia
