IT Desktop and Application Support
Job Description
- Act as the Level 2 technical escalation point for all IT system issues throughout the business
- Assist the IT Support Manager in the rapid rollout of new projects across the network
- Support the standard operating environment, including deployment of images, group policy and updates to new and re-issued desktop and laptop PC’s
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware and software related issues in-person, over the telephone and via remote connectivity
- Active directory administration – including on-boarding and off-boarding of users
- Mobile Device Management
- PC re-imaging, hardware upgrades, and ‘out-of-box’ builds, installations and customisations
- Maintain accurate asset tracking information
- Update service desk tickets accurately and work within approved SLA’s
- Edit and maintain and documentation of procedures within the ‘Knowledge Base’ library
Job Requirement
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent industry experience
- Previous experience working in Desktop Support position, or similar
- Knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft suite of programs including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Server 2012, AD and Exchange+ECP - Azure and O365 highly regarded
- Basic knowledge of IP networking including DNS, routing and switching
- Cloud computing experience – highly advantageous
- MDM experience – iOS and Android
- Printer deployments and troubleshooting
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- High level of problem-solving skills and analytical ability
- Quality focus, detail-oriented and accurate
- Strong priority and time management skills
- Commitment to documentation and knowledge sharing
- Commitment to ongoing personal development and a willingness to update your current qualifications
- Drivers Licence
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
