IT SUPPORT ENGINEER
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Participate in day-to-day IT Support , engaging with our customers in person, over the phone/ remotely and via our online service tool
- Participate in the delivery of key business projects
- Uplifting user capability through the development of high-quality training documentation and delivery of end-user training sessions, both in-person and remotely
- Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining and administering new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers and workstations
- Being the face of IT for our users, ensuring they are provided with excellent service and our systems are enabling them to do the best possible role
Job Requirement
- 1-2 years relevant IT helpdesk or Service Delivery experience with demonstrated high level of customer service
- Flexibility to adjust to changing business priorities
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multi-task
- Ability to operate with some level of ambiguity, with a focus to clarify business needs and identify opportunities for value creation
- A customer-centric approach to IT Support
- Experience in Desktop environment comprising of Windows 10 and MacOS. Experience in Desktops and Printer installation.
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Experience/ sound knowledge of Microsoft technologies, such as Active Directory, Office 365, MS Office suite
- Basic understanding of network technologies, such as switching, routing, and firewalls.
- Outstanding organisational skills to manage high volumes of cases and prioritise multiple competing demands
