Job Description
- Providing support to a Windows desktop environment in a help desk or training capacity
- Desktop hardware maintenance, diagnosis, and repair
- Providing support for the Office suite desktop applications and administering Office 365
- Configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Windows Server operating systems
- Configuration and management of DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and domain functions including Active Directory, Group Policy, and trusts
- Configuration, deployment, and management of VMware ESXi and vCenter environments, including the creation and maintenance of VMware virtual machines
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Job Requirement
- Minimum 2 years' proven experience in administering existing IT systems
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to educate and teach end users
- Experience with the management and coordination of service requests, solving or escalating issues
- Excellent knowledge of SharePoint, MS Excel and all other MS Office suites
- Network vendor-specific qualification, Cisco highly regarded
- Sharepoint Online, SQL, Exchange administration highly regarded
- Experience supporting Linux environments
- Experience configuring and managing Hyper-V
