IT Support Technician
Job Description
Specifically, the role will:
- Manage user accounts, access and utilisation of a wide array of cloud-based solutions
- Provision, deploy and support end-user hardware (laptops and peripherals)
- Implement MFA and SSO solutions and drive adoption of security best practices
- Maintain office network and telephonic systems
- Support the selection of IT and software solutions
- Spearhead an initiative to eliminate redundancies in order to simplify internal toolsets and reduce the cost basis of IT solutions
- Create and maintain a technology asset register
Job Requirement
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Excellent knowledge of Desktop technical support, including current Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac versions in addition to with G-Suite, Atlassian and enterprise SAAS solutions
- Demonstrated experience deploying and managing MFA, SSO and driving the adoption of security best practices
- Strong Active Directory skills, group policies and file and print services
- Working knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing/subnetting, Wi-Fi and Firewall technologies
- Excellent technical diagnostics and resolution skills
- Pro-active approach to problem solving and delivering resolutions
