Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant
Job Description
Your duties will include:
- Preparing commercial contracts and other legal documents (no conveyancing or litigation; and no dictation!)
- Help with marketing activities
- Implement and maintain online tools and systems
- Calendar, file and client management
- Liaising with clients, other lawyers and third parties
- Legal practice management activities
Job Requirement
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Experience as a legal secretary, assistant or paralegal in a commercial legal firm
- Experience producing high quality legal documents – with advanced MS Word skills including document formatting
- Experience with legal operations technology, e.g. document generation, would be highly regarded – although initiative and a willingness to learn new technology is more important
- Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
- Advanced administration and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
