NDIS Support Coordinator
Job Description
The key aspects of this role involve providing initial support to help participants link up with service providers in their local areas, help access NDIS funded services, coordinate the provision of supports, which all inevitably work towards building capacity for the NDIS participant. All of the support coordinators go above and beyond to provide assistance to strengthen our customers abilities to coordinate and implement supports and participate fully in the community.
Job Requirement
- 12 month experience working as a Support Coordinator
- Strong understanding of the NDIS and challenges faced by those with a disability
- A resilient individual with the ability to work well under pressure
- Experience working with KPI's (in either disability or coordination setting)
- A high level of interpersonal skills
- A strong ability to multitask
- Working knowledge of local disability and therapeutic services
- A Qualification in health, allied health or social care would be highly regarded
