Job Description

  • Assist staff in the delivery of five consultation forums and a national roundtable on coercive controlling violence, including development of materials and logistics.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a national position paper on coercive controlling violence in Australia.
  • Contribute to NTV’s submissions to state and territory inquiries.
  • Engage in a range of research and policy activities on men’s behaviour change interventions.
  • Attend network and other meetings with staff and managers and undertake stakeholder engagement and coordination tasks as required.
  • Support and collaborate with other staff or teams in the organisation as relevant and possible.

Job Requirement

  • Demonstrated interest in Australian public policy
  • A desire to learn about the industry and domestic violence
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed attention to detail and planning and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work well with others
  • Strong research skills
  • Competent computer literacy, especially the Microsoft Office suite.
