Job Description
- Assist staff in the delivery of five consultation forums and a national roundtable on coercive controlling violence, including development of materials and logistics.
- Contribute to the delivery of a national position paper on coercive controlling violence in Australia.
- Contribute to NTV’s submissions to state and territory inquiries.
- Engage in a range of research and policy activities on men’s behaviour change interventions.
- Attend network and other meetings with staff and managers and undertake stakeholder engagement and coordination tasks as required.
- Support and collaborate with other staff or teams in the organisation as relevant and possible.
Job Requirement
- Demonstrated interest in Australian public policy
- A desire to learn about the industry and domestic violence
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed attention to detail and planning and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work well with others
- Strong research skills
- Competent computer literacy, especially the Microsoft Office suite.
