The Opportunity  Afterpay is growing our Product Operations Team who is the connective tissue between the teams building products and the teams interacting with end users. We know our products inside out, and never lose sight of operational impacts and needs. We are looking for a Product Operations Manager who enjoys digging deep into the tiniest details to solve problems. You will become an expert on Afterpay’s Risk products. We work on defining scalable solutions and processes, while also figuring out how to immediately support growth. The day-to-day ranges from troubleshooting individual consumer issues to data analysis to building documentation. You will be an adaptable all-rounder who thrives in a rapidly evolving environment and is someone who wants to roll up their sleeves to get the job done! If you think you are up for the challenge, then please read on… We are much more than our job descriptions, but here’s where you will begin…. -Provide subject matter expertise in resolving issues related to risk across products at Afterpay -Collect, quantify & prioritize product-related challenges to be considered by product and engineering in future development. -Uplevel the understanding of how the product is being used in the real world -Develop novel processes & tools to run efficient operations for Afterpay’s risk products -Own product launch readiness to ensure that user-facing teams are ready with the information and processes required to support new products -Identify gaps, recommend solutions, and implement process improvements that help operations scale rapidly and remove barriers to execution. Including managing complexity and optimizing processes across functions - -Partner with Product Managers to triage and prioritize issues, enhancements, bugs with an operational lens -Work with Analytics to ensure data is accurately interpreted and reported -Drive centralization and standardization of documentation and processes cross functionally Who are you? (Qualifications)  Like us, you’ll be deeply committed to delivering positive outcomes for customers and passionate about shaping the future of Afterpay. -5+ years experience in an implementation, operations, or analytics focused role -Confidence working with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams; you are able to understand and articulate customer needs, while understanding how things work so you can troubleshoot issues with technical teams -Resourceful problem solver who proactively suggests improvements and challenges the status quo; proven record of implementing process improvements -Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly motivated and able to work against aggressive schedules -Comfortable manipulating data in Excel/Google Sheets -Experience with SQL and log tools (e.g. Sumo Logic) are a plus -Experience with credit reporting and credit bureaus are a plus -Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience   You like to keep it real with your actions, be brave with your decisions, do the right thing for all our stakeholders and shape the future with excitement.
