Job Description
- Installing and configuring computer systems.
- Diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and applications problems.
- Acting as the first point of technical contact for school staff.
- Responding to jobs to resolve end user computing, data network, classroom audio visual, and IT systems issues in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
- Participating in the deployment of various ICT projects, driven by each school’s strategic plan.
- Contributing in the assessment of the school network and the production of reports/recommendations.
- Audit and maintain the schools’ entire network, end user devices, systems and record work in an electronic format.
- Obtaining quotations on hardware, assets and software as required through SCS Sydney approved suppliers.
- ICT asset management (both hardware and software) – including the planning and implementation of asset decommissioning in the fifth year and replacement where possible.
Job Requirement
- Post-secondary and/or relevant industry certification, eg. MSCA, CCNA, Aruba.
- Strong demonstrated experience as IT Systems Integration Technician or Microsoft Server Administration.
- Strong Knowledge of Windows server applications, Back-up systems, Redundancy systems installation and maintenance.
- Understanding of ITIL v3/4 Foundation framework.
- Knowledge of Microsoft and MAC Operating Systems, Network Administration, Logging, Connectivity / Network Security / Auditing / Scoping / Asset Management/ Document Writing / High-level technical reporting / Virtual LAN set-up and management / Wireless Networking / Hardware troubleshooting
- Proficiency across all aspects of OSI layers.
- Flexibility, initiative and responsiveness in managing workflow with an ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Current driver’s licence and access to car.
