This position will be based in our Melbourne office  The Role As we continue to rapidly expand our business here at Afterpay, a new opportunity has been created for a Senior Business Analyst in our Finance Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as interpersonal skills to provide analytics solutions to the audience in Finance Team  Key Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of Afterpay business processes and product innovations Prepare analysis on performance of different business units, products and initiatives for the finance audience Prepare information for auditors and manage the audit follow up questions Develop and maintain reporting framework on key financial metrics using MicroStrategy, Tableau and other tools Assist Treasury team in preparation of the analysis of the data for funding facilities Help create predictions and forecasts Contribute to the development of analytical frameworks, tools, and skills.  Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the data model Support Finance Analytics Manager in workload prioritization and providing peer review of the work of more junior colleagues   Qualifications Master degree or above in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related fields. 5+ years of work experience involving data analysis, preferably with finance analytics Experience in working with finance stakeholdersUnderstanding of the basic accounting concepts Strong working knowledge of SQL Strong understanding of data architecture Strong functional experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Microstrategy  Experience with Python and R considered a big advantage Passion for finding insights in data and driving change based on those insights.
