Job Description

With us, you’ll experience Impact. The Service Delivery squad in SPACE is all about serving the company product delivery teams across REA. The focus includes supporting SME’s to partner directly with both Tech and Delivery Teams as well as managing initiative demand and aligning operational support across the company. As a Senior DevOps Engineer / Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our services in a collaborative DevOps environment. You will be expected to implement sustainable solutions in collaboration with the development teams in your area. You will form part of a cross-functional or infrastructure team, providing your expertise in operations, and will make a contribution to the success of the team mission. You will use your skills and experience to mentor more junior systems engineers and other functions.

Job Requirement

Engaging with stakeholders from across the business to understand their needs when it comes to Systems Engineering/Operational Infrastructure.
Ensuring the availability and performance of our services according to their defined SLAs.
Troubleshooting and management of incidents as an escalation point for other engineers.
Contributing and optimizing the delivery engineering process for the apps under your responsibility.
Mentoring other team members and more junior engineers in operational matters.
Exercising and championing operational discipline and participating in all required IT service management processes (e.g. incidents, changes, operational procedures, DR exercises, etc.)
Leading the implementation of infrastructure and operational tools and services.
