Senior Investment Analyst
Job Description
- Driving the firm’s responsible investment framework, through providing a comprehensive structure review of existing ESG position and investment opportunity sets for our clients, covering both direct and externally managed investment solutions
- Providing direct coverage, recommendations and insight of Australian equities
- Developing, improving and maintaining company forecast and valuation models, as well as other analytical tools and services
- Providing bespoke analysis for a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Presenting research ideas to clients and internal stakeholders
- Collaborating and building relationships within the research team, investment advisory division and other senior stakeholders
Job Requirement
With an interest in financial markets, significant responsible investing experience, investments and/or economics you will have at least 5 years’ experience in an investment related role and 2 years with an ESG focus – be it within an institutional or private wealth related role.
An advanced understanding of asset classes, responsible investment principles & investment opportunities as well as other financial products and investments will enable you to succeed in this role.
An ability to conduct advanced business and financial statement analysis using advanced modelling tools.
You take pride in delivering superior support and are already armed with strong technical knowledge. You can prioritise tasks and effectively manage conflicting deadlines.
As an aspiring or experienced leader, you are a driven self-starter, you act with high levels of integrity and can easily influence and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Ideally, you have a degree in Accounting/Finance, Statistics and/or Economics. Candidates holding or studying towards the CFA designation or other post graduate studies will be highly regarded. Specific ESG accreditation will be regarded highly.
