Job Description
- Delivery of the month end reporting deliverables for the mine site and provide key inputs and commentary;
- Assess performance of cost controls and work with site management to improve cost management;
- Work with stakeholders to design rolling weekly, monthly, annual budgets, forecasts and cashflow models;
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities and gaps and present these to senior stakeholders of the business; and
- Ensure correct & accurate lodgement of all statutory and industry requested compliance.
Job Requirement
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce (CA or CPA);
- Experience understanding the key cost, revenue and capex drivers in a coal mine;
- Ability to influence key stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes; and
- Mining experience in a commercial environment (desired).
