The role
As a Senior Software Engineer within the Merchant Core squad will be involved with the integrations of various platforms and building new features to ensure our merchants have a first class experience when partnering with Zip. This team is also responsible for our Merchant dashboards, Merchant acquisition and reporting.
You will be working alongside other engineers to find solutions to complex problems, be involved with architectural and design discussions, and contribute to the growth of and learning within Zip’s Engineering team.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will also work closely with the Product Manager, Product Designer and Engineering peers. This role will play a critical part in achieving business goals.
We are looking for a Senior Engineer who has experience across back end, infrastructure and a bit of front end (ideally), who can lead technical discussions and guide more junior engineers if needed.
