Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Lead, advocate and champion modern best practices & techniques
- Be a strong technical voice with the product team to define the future roadmap
- Own the delivery of features by the team
- Provide guidance on best practices for code quality and architecture
- Mentor other developers
- Encourage innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Communicate technology needs and best practices with other developers and platform users
Job Requirement
Required Experience:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Language agnostic, have experience in a few languages eg javascript, Go, python, Java, C#
- Strong DevOps experience in an AWS environment
- Experience with a RDMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Understanding of full web stack from infrastructure through to front end
- Experience developing against REST APIs
- 5+ years experience in development roles
- Experience in agile teams (Kanban or Scrum)
