Systems Engineers

•       Apply rigorous systems engineering discipline, analysis and approaches to requirements gathering, requirements management, systems design and distillation of use cases.

•       Assist business areas and the Systems Engineering community in providing value add consulting services

•       Provide engineering documentation review and approval across multiple projects

•       Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure project milestones, budgets and timelines are met

•       Ensure scope of work and customer requirements are clearly defined

Technical skills:

•       Model Based Systems Engineering

•       Requirements management tools - Cradle/DOORS

•       Agile development methodologies

•       SDLC tools such as Jira

•       Document management systems such as OpenKM

•       Linux

Professional skills:

•       Defence sector engineering experience

•       Aptitude for problem space analysis, conceptualisation, and design mapping

•       Effective written and verbal communication

•       Positive contribution to merit-based, outcome-oriented discussions

•       Ability to prioritise and manage time, especially at critical moments in projects
