Murdoch Childrens Research Institute

Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) is Australia's largest child health research institute and one of the top three in the world. Based at The Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, MCRI employs more than 1,200 researchers who are dedicated to discovering ways to prevent and treat childhood conditions. Many researchers are dual-role clinicians at the hospital, enabling rapid translation of discoveries into practical treatments. MCRI conducts research across genetics, neuroscience, infection and immunity, and population health.
