Chinese translation 2

In this unit you will examine a number of further key conceptual and practical issues in Chinese translation studies. You will continue to develop your intercultural and inter-lingual communication skills through various translation projects and critical reading of a range of different representations of Chinese translation works. Through reading selected scholarly writings on Chinese and Western translation history, you will observe this cultural communication activity in perspective. In addition, you will critically appraise translation in the form of writing translator’s notes.
