Finance and society

This unit is intended to contextualise your acquired knowledge for solving problems in real world domestic and global situations. The unit encourages you to recognise that finance is a powerful tool for solving our common problems, and increasing the general wellbeing, but may give rise to ethical dilemmas. You will be exposed to choices and conflicts requiring judgement and thus appreciate that finance can play an important role in helping society achieve its goals. If undertaken as part of a major, this unit should be completed as a final unit within the major as it draws upon and integrates learning from previous units studied. This is a capstone experience unit for B2034 Bachelor of Finance.
