WorkCover Queensland is the Queensland Government's statutory body responsible for workers' compensation insurance, providing coverage to over 160,000 employers and managing more than 90,000 injured worker claims per year. The organisation works with employers, injured workers, and rehabilitation service providers to achieve the best possible return-to-work outcomes. WorkCover is a large public sector insurer with a significant IT and operations workforce.
