What does the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Part 1 (OGEA-101) exam cover?
OGEA-101 is the foundation-level exam for TOGAF Enterprise Architecture, primarily testing core concepts of the TOGAF Standard, the ADM (Architecture Development Method), Architecture Content Framework, and Enterprise Continuum. It has 47 questions, a 90-minute time limit, and requires a passing score of 70.
How does OGEA-101 differ from the older OG0-091?
OGEA-101 is based on the latest TOGAF Standard (Edition 10), replacing the older OG0-091 (based on TOGAF 9). The new exam content is more modern, covering emerging topics such as digital transformation and agile architecture.
Do I still need to take Part 2 after passing Part 1?
After passing Part 1, you will earn the TOGAF Foundation qualification. To achieve the full TOGAF Certified qualification, you need to pass the Part 2 exam as well. Alternatively, you can take the Combined exam (OGEA-103) to complete both levels at once.
Are there any prerequisites for this exam?
OGEA-101 has no mandatory prerequisites and is suitable for enterprise architecture beginners. Basic IT knowledge and a preliminary understanding of enterprise architecture concepts are recommended, and relevant work experience is helpful.
